Surprise a friend or treat yourself to a Smile Makeover from Dr. Olya Banchik!

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2008 Survivor Smile Makeover. Women who reside in the Las Vegas Valley and are breast or ovarian cancer survivors can nominate themselves or be nominated by friends or family to receive a complimentary smile makeover. A photo of the nominee and a 250-word maximum length essay explaining the nominee’s experience with breast or ovarian cancer and how a smile makeover would enhance her life must accompany applications. Those submitting nominations will include a phone number and/or email address. Dr. Banchik and her staff will review nominations and winners will be announced December 15, 2008. Burbank Dental Labs is also a sponsor of
this event.

A smile makeover involves careful consideration of one’s facial appearance, skin tone, hair color, teeth, gum tissue, and lips. The process may include some or all of the following: teeth whitening, new porcelain crowns or veneers, old silver fillings replaced with tooth colored composite restorations, tooth reshaping, straightening one’s teeth through invisible braces and replacing missing teeth with implants and partial dentures.

The recipient of the smile makeover will also receive a smile rejuvenation procedure, where the natural tooth length is added back to the smile, naturally opening up the face. The appearance of wrinkles and lines are lessened dramatically, making ones lips appear
fuller. This is a non-surgical procedure that requires no recovery.
